4th grade students have been working hard to learn 3 new recorder notes this year.  They are quite challenging, so all 4th grade students should be practicing at home at least twice weekly.  If you would like some extra help for your son or daughter on the recorder let me know.  Memory songs for 4th grade are:  Peg Leg the Pirate,  The Birch Tree, Misty Mountain Morning,  and I Don't Care if the Rain Comes Down.  Memorization for these pieces is really important.  Ask your student how many songs they have memorized and please encourage their practice at home.

Students should have their recorders at school every Wednesday. 

All Students are beginning a new composition project in 6/8 time, written for the recorder.
